Freyya is an early-stage medical device company developing the first wearable pelvic floor biofeedback and monitoring device to help women recover from pelvic dysfunction. 1 of 4 women suffer from pelvic dysfunction, which typically occurs during childbirth or hormonal changes from menopause, and if left untreated will burden women with lifelong symptoms of incontinence and pain. Freyya aims to shift the paradigm of pelvic floor care from its current symptom-reactive model, utilizing data collected from our device to provide AI-enabled diagnosis and personalized treatment immediately after inciting events, like childbirth. Our proactive and preventative approach aims to disrupt the pelvic care industry, giving women the knowledge and insights to keep their body active and healthy for longer, avoiding physically and mentally depressing symptoms of pelvic dysfunction.
