BioUtah's RCQ committee is pleased to announce the upcoming seminar "User Considerations in Medical Devices and Combination Products" on March 20.
Key take aways:
User considerations for development of combination products, including an overview of what Human Factors is, why it is important, and how it is integrated within design controls. What is a human factors (usability) study and what different types of studies are they? The different needs of user considerations for generic vs specialty products.
Speaker Bio:
Lisa Nilsson (Associate Director R&D Human Factors) holds a M Sc in Industrial Design Engineering and has been with Teva Pharmaceuticals for five years, supporting combination product design and development globally to ensure that Teva's products are user-friendly, patient-focused and meet regulatory requirements. She currently manages the global Human Factors CoE for Teva Pharmaceuticals, as part of the Combination Product and Devices department. The Human Factors department is based in Runcorn, UK, and supporting Teva sites worldwide.
