He has more than 16 years of experience advising multinational companies on intellectual property and regulatory matters with a strong focus on the life sciences space. He has broad experience in high-level management of complex legal and policy issues in Mexico and Latin America. Before joining S nchez Devanny\, he was the legal director for the Mexican division of the multinational pharmaceutical laboratory AstraZeneca\, where he provided high level advisory on a wide array of legal issues\, including intellectual property and data privacy. Serrano-Leets was also the vice-president of intellectual property at AMIIF (The Pharmaceutical Innovation Industry Association in Mexico). He is fluent in English and Spanish.\n\n\n\nMr. Santos is founder and CEO of AXIS   Strategic Intelligence Center\, a private firm located in Tijuana\, Mexico and Instituto AXIS\, a specialized business unit focused on industrial training. He has a master's degree in engineering with a specialization in quality and productivity from ITESM and an MBA degree with specialization in public administration from CETYS University.
